Terms of Service

By installing and using JellyAmp, you agree to these terms. They're deliberately short. If any part doesn't work for you, don't use the app — and if you already have, request a refund through Apple.

1. What JellyAmp is

JellyAmp is a music-player client for Jellyfin media servers, published on the Apple App Store. It is not affiliated with the Jellyfin project or with Apple.

JellyAmp requires a Jellyfin server that you have access to. The app is a player; it does not host, stream, or supply music.

2. Your Jellyfin server is your responsibility

You are responsible for the content on your Jellyfin server and for your legal right to access it. JellyAmp does not monitor or moderate what you play. You agree not to use JellyAmp in a way that violates copyright law, your local laws, or Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.

3. Accounts

JellyAmp uses Sign in with Apple. By signing in, you let us associate a unique Apple user identifier with your JellyAmp record so we can grant access to paid features. See the Privacy Policy for details on what we store.

4. Purchases, subscriptions, and renewals

• Monthly ($1.99/month) and Yearly ($12.99/year) subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period until cancelled.
• Lifetime ($24.99) is a one-time purchase granting access for the life of the app.
• All three tiers unlock the same functionality.
• Family Sharing is available for the subscription tiers only. The Lifetime purchase is tied to the Apple ID that bought it.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. To cancel a subscription, go to Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on iPhone.
• Apple handles all billing. Refunds are governed by Apple's standard App Store refund policy.

5. Price changes

We may change prices for new subscribers at any time. Existing subscribers keep their current price until their subscription lapses or is explicitly upgraded. Apple will notify you of any price change that affects your existing subscription and may require you to re-authorise it.

6. Manual grants

Occasionally we grant lifetime access directly (for example: to beta testers, contributors, or as goodwill). Manual grants can be revoked if abused — e.g., if the underlying Apple ID turns out to be shared across many devices in a way that looks commercial.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer the app with the intent of bypassing the paywall.
• Share, publish, or redistribute parts of the app in ways that violate copyright or Apple's distribution rules.
• Use the app to stream content you don't have a legal right to access.
• Submit false refund or chargeback claims.

8. No warranty

The app is provided "as is." We do our best to make JellyAmp reliable, but music playback depends on your Jellyfin server, your network, and your device. We can't guarantee uninterrupted playback, compatibility with every Jellyfin version, or support for every audio format.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement).

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for anything arising from your use of JellyAmp is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim — typically between $1.99 and $24.99. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (lost data, lost time, bruised feelings).

10. Termination

You can stop using JellyAmp at any time by deleting the app. We can terminate your access if you breach these terms — most commonly by issuing fraudulent chargebacks or engaging in abuse.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the developer's place of business. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be heard in those courts. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory consumer rights under local law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the effective date at the top. Material changes will trigger an in-app notice on next launch. Continued use after the change means you accept it.
